Why We Built This Site
Texas provides several public access routes, but no single office holds every part of an Anderson County history. The Sheriff/Jail controls local booking and custody material. Court clerks maintain filed charges, docket events, judgments, and dispositions. The Texas DPS Crime Records Division operates the statewide criminal-history repository, while TDCJ and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry answer separate custody and registration questions. The site brings those official contacts, fees, request methods, and search links into a clearer county-level path.

- It cannot guarantee that an office has not changed a fee, address, or phone number
